We met Mike at an open house - we were new to town, and just browsing what was on the market. He was extremely knowledgeable about the neighborhoods and was excitedly sharing - in a no pressure, non salesy way.
We contacted him the week following, and he set us up to receive the daily emails. We were too new to town to feel comfortable buying yet, and hadn't even been pre approved.
He reached out to show us around, and let us see the different kinds of homes in our approximate price range- with zero pressure. He was easy to schedule with, easy to communicate with and extremely helpful.
Whenever we saw something we liked, he was very responsive and prompt in setting up times and appointments - over the course of 6 months. We put in a total of 3 offers with Mike- one that was blown out of the water by an over asking offer, a second that we ended up being a backup offer, and the third which is now our home sweet home.
We were super grateful to have found Mike by chance- it was meant to be. If you are doing research on who to use, I hope this is enough to convince you this is a really safe bet.
I am a licensed Broker with Windermere Real Estate, conveniently located in downtown Bend’s Old Mill District. I am a third generation realtor and specialize in residential and investment properties.
As well as being a Real Estate Broker, property investor and hotelier, I have over 15 years’ experience working in the advertising and entertainment industry. I have an entrepreneurial approach to life and business and a well-earned reputation for helping my clients differentiate themselves from the market clutter. I am also a founding partner at LikeWhere.com, an online travel start-up based in Dublin, Ireland.
I moved to Portland, Oregon in 2001 from San Diego, and lived on the Oregon coast for five years with my wife and two daughters before making my way to sunny Bend. Like many local residents I love being in the outdoors, riding Bend’s network of mountain bike trails, hiking with my daughters in the Cascades, bird watching, and floating the Deschutes. If it’s after hours you may find me unwinding with a four dollar movie at McMenamins’ Old St. Francis School.
My view on spaces:
Spaces fascinate me. Whether a park, an office, or a room within a home. They affect our mood, they are often personal, and can be full of memory. Spaces are where we live, cry, celebrate and love. Small spaces are of particular interest. This is because in order for a small space to be great it needs to be created with intention and purpose and consideration to flow, and these details are reflective of great design.
